Overview

galaxy-toops keeps arcade DNA intact while trimming rules to geometry and cadence you can repeat. Waves speak in shapes—fans, funnels, spirals—and the win condition is deleting the angle that becomes a wall, not reacting late to the wall itself. Hold mid-bottom so side room exists, burst in two–three shots to keep recoil and sight clean, and micro-dodge before paths converge. Specials are multipliers only when lanes overlap; save burst for dense stacks and use pierce on shielded lines that bind formations. Shields and bombs are recovery tools; spend them to exit trap archetypes, then rebuild posture immediately rather than pressing offense. Leaders bind shapes; remove them to convert a busy screen into manageable streams. The rhythm feels like a phrase: burst→small slide→special on overlap→rebuild, and the board breathes because you read it ahead of time. Scores rise when survival stays composed.

Play brief

Stay mid-bottom, remove leader angles, shoot short strings, and trigger specials at overlapping lanes. Use shield/bomb only to recover from traps, then re-center.

Field notes

Leaders first. Small early slides beat wide late escapes. Specials at overlaps; recovery tools only for traps.

Q: Specials feel wasted?

A: Fire through stacked lanes or compressed clusters.

Q: Bomb timing poor?

A: Save for true traps; rebuild posture right after.
