Overview
Epic_Blocollapse is a color-collapse puzzle tuned for structural thinking. You clear groups, but score and progress come from preparing the board so cascades behave. The secret is base and corridor management: widen bases at the bottom to give gravity room, repair fractured edges that spawn singletons, and build central clusters so spillover touches multiple lanes. Specials act like editors rather than fireworks—use them to fuse split stacks, bridge color gaps, and fix corners that keep emitting stray tiles. The best turns begin two moves earlier: a small push aligns midline groups, a repair on the perimeter prevents future clutter, then a detonation lands when multiple routes benefit. Visual clarity makes scanning diagonals easy, and feedback is fair; short cascades say bases stayed narrow, lingering singles tell you ignored edge health, and late stalls mean color balance needs rework. Correction is calm: one repair, one alignment, then clear. The loop is satisfying because it turns chaotic grids into tidy sequences that feel authored. Endless modes reward preserving options over big clears, and level modes reward solving architecture before chasing objectives. When the collapse finally runs, it looks inevitable because your last three choices made it so.
